SECOND COLLECTION

PHILIPPINES LEPER COLONY:
May we thank you for your most generous donation for the orphaned children’s centre in the Philippines run by Sr Nicanora. We are renewing our appeal to help a Leper Colony in the Philippines run by Brother Bantilan. Following the devastation of the earthquake in Cebu and the super typhoon in the north, many Filipinos are now facing floods and are in fear for their lives.
The Second Collection on 16th November is to help Br Bantilan who has been serving the marginalised community of lepers since the 1980s. May we thank parishioners for your continued generosity during these challenging times, and please continue to pray for the people of the Philippines. May God bless you.
