SECOND COLLECTION

26th OCTOBER

PHILIPPINES  ORPHANED CHILDREN:

In recent weeks, the Philippines has been devastated by an earthquake in Cebu displacing 80,000 people and a super typhoon in the north. Amongst this backdrop, since the 1980’s, Sister Nicanora continues to run a children’s orphanage in the Philippines.  

The Second Collection on 26th October is to help Sr Nicanora with the Mission and their vital work in looking after orphaned children.

May we thank parishioners for your continued generosity during these challenging times, and please pray for the people of the Philippines, as so many endeavours to rebuild their lives. May God bless you.
