Many thanks to the many people who supported this wonderful occasion, either with the abundance and variety of international food or by your attendance and input to the very uplifting and joyful Mass. It was wonderful to see so many cultures coming together as the one community of St Francis parish, reflecting the universal Church. Special thanks to the members of Flame Youth Group for their planning and execution of the event. If anyone is missing a food pot, it can possibly be found behind the organ for the next week!

Following the success of previous years, the International Mass will be celebrated on the feast of our patronal saint, St Francis, on Saturday 4th October at 6pm.
The Mass will be followed by a social gathering with international food and music in the URC hall, further down Week Street. Please support this parish event with your presence and if anyone would like to offer food, please give your name either to one of the clergy, musicians or the young people at the back of the church.
This event is being organised by Flame Youth Group.
