It has been overwhelming how much appreciation people have expressed for us providing the Livestream Mass every Sunday since the end of March. We are glad it has been something that has brought a piece of joy to so many homes during the different times we go through. Let us also express our deepest thanks to the people who have allowed this to be possible sharing their skills and time so generously. However, we never really imagined that the livestream as we have it now would be permanent and the equipment that we are currently using has seen better days. We wish to let you know, therefore, that the livestream will be coming to an end – the final Sunday being 1st November, the Feast of All Saints.
While we ask people to use this as an opportunity to think about actually coming to Mass, we continue to stress that the Sunday obligation is still suspended and that people who should be careful about coming out in public, especially with a health condition, must not feel obliged or pressured into coming to Mass. Hopefully the section about Mass Population can help you with this. There are still plenty of parishes that provide a constant webcam service in their church. The one we direct you to first of all is that of St. Peter’s, Bearsted.
