Singing at Mass

Congregational singing is now permitted but it is recommended that we do so with a face covering on until a later date when we are advised otherwise. We will not be handing out the hymn books yet as these are considered to be touchpoints that many people share so would need constant sanitising. However, we will make the hymn words available here every Sunday for you to print off or download onto your phones/tablets (muted please!) which you can bring along to Mass with you and join in with the singing.

Year of St Joseph
Prayer

Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. To you God entrusted His only Son; in you Mary placed her trust; with you Christ became man. Blessed Joseph, to us too, show yourself a father and guide us in the path of life. Obtain for us grace, mercy and courage, and defend us from every evil. Amen.
