It is with great sadness that we announce that Fr. Paul Gibbons passed away on Thursday 25th of August. May he rest in peace and rise in Glory.
The Requiem Mass for Fr. Paul will be celebrated on Tuesday 13th September 10.30am, here at St. Francis Church. We gladly welcome Fr Christopher Pearson of the Ordinariate from Precious Blood Parish, The Borough, who will be presiding at the Mass.
A lovely man. May he rest in peace.
He was a absolutely beautiful man. He had time for everyone no matter your back ground. I attended st Michaels primary school and attended many of his services as a child. I remember so many services he did and stories he told. He done my uncle and granddads funeral services. He then went on to christen my own children. He was a true gentle soul. God rest his soul! Xx
Oh goodness, I remember this wonderful man from my primary school, rest in peace, one of life’s good people xx

Dear Father,
You now can embrasse the Lord, like you explained so many times during worship at St Michael’s Church. What an extraordinary loving and teaching life you have had among us. What a fulfilled expectation now.
Thank you.
God bless you.
