“Recovery is possible anywhere” says Fr Eamon Sheridan of the Columban Mission in Myanmar.
Many poor young people living mostly by subsistence farming or working in mines become addicted to heroin, opium and alcohol, which are cheaply and easily available. Fr Eamon’s Mission of rehabilitation and recovery is succeeding, and recovering addicts are also helping others.
With our thanks to Parishioners for your kind donation in the Second Collection on 7th September to help support this vital work. God Bless you.
